This Privacy Policy explains how SPAARG Infosolutions ("SPAARG", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit spaarg.com (the "Website"), contact us, or apply for a job with us.
We are committed to handling your personal information responsibly and in line with applicable data protection laws, including India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, where it applies to visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

SPAARG Infosolutions is a sole proprietorship registered in India. For the purposes of data protection law, we are the "data fiduciary" (India) or "data controller" (GDPR) responsible for your personal information.

2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and enquiry form: your name, email address, company name and your message.
- Careers application form: your full name, email address, phone number (optional), primary area of interest, LinkedIn profile URL (optional), portfolio or GitHub URL (optional), years of experience (optional) and your cover note, along with any other details you choose to include.
- Direct communication: if you email us, call us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive your contact details and anything you share in that conversation.
Please do not include sensitive personal information (such as financial, health or identity document details) in our forms or messages.
Information collected automatically
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to collect information about how you use the Website, such as pages visited, time spent on pages, the website that referred you, your approximate location (country or city level), device type and browser. We do not use this information to identify you personally. See section 6 for more on cookies.
Our hosting provider may also record standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and date and time of access) for security and to keep the Website running properly.
3. How we use your information

5. Who we share your information with

- our email and business communication providers;

8. How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above:
- Enquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 24 months after our last communication, so we have context if you contact us again.
- Client information: for the duration of our engagement and afterwards for as long as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
- Job applications: up to 12 months after the role is filled, so we can consider you for future openings, unless you ask us to delete your application sooner.
- Analytics data: up to 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted by Google Analytics.
After these periods, we securely delete or anonymise the information.
9. How we protect your information
We use reasonable security practices to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on the Website, access controls that limit who can view your information, and service providers with appropriate security standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a personal data breach where required by law.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information;
- delete your personal information, where we no longer need it or you withdraw consent;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before;
- raise a grievance with us about how we handle your information;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity (under Indian law).
If GDPR applies to you, you also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We will acknowledge your grievance promptly and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India, or, where GDPR applies, your local data protection authority.
12. Children
The Website and our services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
13. Links to other websites
The Website may link to other websites, such as our social media profiles or client websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make significant changes, we will make this clear on the Website.
